We're excited to be involved in fitting some freaky contact lenses for a major Hollywood motion picture being filmed right here in Queensland. We can't wait to see our contact lens handiwork on the big screen!

We now offer hand painted soft scleral contact lenses for patients with eye injuries or major disfigurement of their eyes, including now being able to make eyes look straight again. These lenses help us restore the best possible cosmetic appearance for patients. We receive many referrals for cosmetic lenses from private ophthalmologists and the eye clinics at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Mater Hospital, QLD Children's Hospital and PA Hospital and the newest hand painted soft scleral lenses have helped us even further help these patients better than before.

February 2019

Zenlens is here! This lens is now available to be fitted to all suitable patients. We were part of the Gelflex Laboratories evaluation process and following good success, we are now incorporating this lens into our practice. Zenlens adds yet another excellent option in our mission to restore the vision in patients with corneal diseases such as keratoconus and patients with corneal grafts.

We are one of two practices in Australia to be part of the Zenlens scleral contact lens trial by Gelflex Laboratories. We will be fitting a selected number of patients in this advanced lens for keratoconus and corneal grafts as part of Geflex's assessment of its performance and usefulness to the Australian market. Zenlens is one of the most popular custom lens designs used by doctors in the USA.

August 2018

We are excited to have one of our unusual contact lens projects featured in Australia's biggest ophthalmic magazine Mivision. Click here to read about our gold contact lens which might bring us closer to the ultimate in augmented reality

We are pleased to now be one of the few practices worldwide to offer Wavefront Optimised Scleral Contact Lenses. These offer a new level of clarity for patients with corneal diseases such as keratoconus, corneal grafts, pellucid marginal degeneration and unusual refractive errors. We utilise the same Nidek OPDIII wavefront aberrometer used by premier laser eye surgery clinics around the world. This significant investment in technology keeps us at the forefront of contact lens fitting.
